Actually it doesn't necessarily mean you have the virus, though you should of course run an anti-virus and keep the definitions up to date, it means that at least one person you've e-mailed has it and you in thier address book.

: Pat, it means that your computer is infected with the viru
: s, and is sending out messages with your e-mail address. O
: ther computers can detect the virus and will automatically
: send you a message in that regard, or if they are infecte
: d and have your e-mail address, will send the message.
:
: Once you open the message, the virus will activate in your
: computer if it is not already there.
:
: If you are sure you have not sent messages to anyone, simp
: ly delete those messages without even opening them.
:
: Go to: McAffee.com and look for the MYDOOM virus removal t
: ool. It will download to your computer. If you are running
: Windows ME, XP or similar, you will have to disable the a
: utomatic backup in your computer in order to get the "stin
: ger" program to work properly. There are detailed instruct
: ions on that web page as to how to do it.
:
: Good luck!
