Some people just do it one piece at a time. Bob Odegaard put his first mustang together that way. I think there are some twenty or thirty different aircraft in that Mustang. Other people are doing the same thing. You can buy a piece here and there, often discarded from other restorations, and with a lot of work, and time, and patience, and sacrifice, and yes, help from friends and family, it is possible. I know several people who are doing just this, and on very small incomes.

Just go for it Tulio. Half the battle, as with everything, is actually believing enough that you can do it in the first place.
