I have been working for many years, trying to build up to the point where I can purchase an airplane, any airplane, that I can economically justify. When crunch time comes, there have always been a higher priority, and the airplane has to go back to the waiting list.

I believe that I am getting to the point where I will at last, be able to afford a small airplane, and I am looking into an L-2, L-4 and L-5. Not that I will purchase it tomorrow, but I am already feeling confident that I can do it.

Like you, in order to save money, I moved last year to an airport and I have an apartment inside a hangar, larger than what I had, and cheaper, with the added bonus of having aviation gasoline and airplane smell just by opening my door!

I'll get there eventually, and I'll let you all know how it goes.
