Early Warbird Collectors

Hi All,
First to everyone who has passed along contact thanka alot. It sure has help.
I've got the chapter outlines down. Here they are.
1) Rush to the Smelters, This will deal with aircraft right after the war and the early buyers IE Paul Mantz.
2) Black Market Aircraft, This will deal with the guys who were supplying are friends with the Mustangs and Corsairs ect. IE Bob Bean.
3) Enter Mr. Maloney,
4) The late 60's to the mid 70's, This will deal with the early recoverys in PNG, Canada, ect. IE Charles Darby, David Tallichet.
5) CAF
6) England and the making of the BOB, This will deal with early movement their and aspecial section on BOB movie.
7) North America, This will deal with the early groups like EAA, CWH and the various collectors.
8) OZZIE/NZ, same as above but dealing with down under.
9) The Movement takes off. this will deal with the growth of the warbird movement in the late 70's thru the mid 80's.
10) Legacy, This will deal with the present and furture.
Also their will be a section with a brief Bio on the mvoers and shakers.
I've sent out about 20 letters so far and have recieved a number of positive feed back.
Once again I would like to thank everyone on the board for their help and I will keep you all posted on the progress. As for the Corsair book I've shelved that for now. If anyone needs Corsair info. just let me know the only two counrtys I have'nt heard from is Hond. and El Salv.
