I know this may seem to be a bit like the devils advocate, but I just want to see what the opinion of the group is. I saw the plane last March and there was a lot remaining... I am in no way an expert, but yes, it did seem like it was together, but it didn't look to be plumbed, wired, and cabled up and I know that the inside wasn't outfitted at all yet... even recent pictures don't look too different.

Are they really thinking that it will be flying as early as April or May? Is this possible? I saw what YAF did with Yankee Lady and know that the details become 3/4 of the project at times and can't be fudged. In addition, they mention the flight experience notion... seems way too early for that...

I have heard the Brooks' are great folks from many who have met them and wish the best to them. Their enthusiasm for the mission is what is good about warbirds, I just hope that "what is bad about warbirds" won't get the best of them through their relative inexperience with them.

My .02 and thats all...
