Stepping into the fray as Dan Johnson II, both from Minnesota btw :)
I spent the best part of the 90s tracking the story of a B24 crew that went down over Vienna in February of 45 with 6 of the 12 man pathfinder crew killed.
I'd like the chance to go back and interview the 6 who didn't make it and the three who had passed away before I got involved in the story, just to get to know them. Having worked around the edges of their lives for so long and having learned a great deal about them, it would be the icing on the cake to get to sit down and look them in the eye and learn about their lives from them.
Of the three survivors I found, two have since passed away, and I'll be forever grateful for the chance to have gotten to know them first.
