I am working on a project based on Browning .50.
My version is the one as in P-51,P-47 etc.
Made in mostly aluminum, watercut and casted parts.
Only an externally replica non-firing.
But accurate as static in a fighter restoration, however.
I have an original P-51 Mg which I have copied with tolerances within +- 1mm.
I am now building two copies as a starter just to see how it will work out.
But the work is time-consuming and expensive with tooling and material costs.
But fun.....
Right now I have the sideplates and cooling jackets ready.
I will get back here when I feel that I can present something useful.
My intention is that price will be far cheaper than the market offers and still high quality.
If it works out that will say!
