Your number is in the mid-$30/hour range. Maybe that's valid if the shop rate is discounted on a large project like a Russia recovered aircraft.
That's about $146k per year for a couple of techs, + parts.
It is clear why it is worthwhile to send projects downunder for restoration due to the currency factors.
Either way the price is WAAAAAAAY out of my league! :-(
I guess I'll have to keep plugging slowly away at my own pace on my T-6 project which I'll eventually have $250k into... Remember, I got this project to SAVE money!
