Retrieval costs vary hugely in somewhere like Russia , depending on remoteness , on land or in water etc. Helicopter cost can range up to $US600 per hour . A recent recovery was estimated to cost around $US 80,000 .
Mike Walton frequents the board and would have a more detailed cost breakdown with his experience in that part of the world , being partners with Jim Pearce.
