when I say screw tighar, I mean that I, in no way take thier opinion into consideration. As far as I am concerned, given thier status in the media (what little there is) any book published from a source within "WIX" interest would benefit from thier detractions (if any) given thier definition of a preserved combat aircraft. Let the publicity work in our favor without even mentioning them...there is no reason to mention them. A good aviation archeology story generates just as much interest in the aviation community as does the tombs of Eygpt in Egyptology circles. This interest is contageous amongst the population once it gets the proper coverage. Just look at Glacier Girl...the perfect example of triumph over the elements to bring a piece of history back to life...a combination airplane, human interest story. Surviving combat aircraft are very special as are the people dedicated to preserving them, be they flying restorations or static restorations. lol...so how do we divide the profits ;)
