Is Tex Hill coming over to the West Houston Squadron Open House?

I had the honor and the pleasure of being his driver many years ago, during a Wings Over Houston, and through him, I met many aviation personalities. The General is really nice, and of course, everyone knows him. I was given a nice golf cart, and my instructions were: take him wherever he wants to go. And we did just that, all day long!

By the end of the day, he had stopped literally hundreds of times, to shake hands, to say hi, to pose for pictures. I did not want to ask for the same thing, but he was kind enough to suggest we should take a photo together, and I have one, standing in front of a P-51, since there was no P-40 at that show. Later on, he autographed the photo for me.
