If you're referring to Mr. Nobuhiro Okada, he told me he's restoring a complete mustang coming from one of his dad's friends (Can this type of thing really happen? Why not to me then?). Complete but with airframe and wings badly corroded. Origin of the a/c is unknown and s/n isn't visible any more. He's collecting as many original parts as possible and was supposed to start reproducing a brand new airframe back in 2001.
I'm going to make contact with him again and will try to get an update that I will post here if you're interested.
