The museum in Chino gives orientation flights, but can only give them to museum members since the fighters are Limited or Experimental Exhibition category. A T-6 is typically licensed in Standard category so they can be used for hire. I think that Collings has a special waiver from the FAA to give rides.

Of course anyone can give rides in anything in the US (assuming more than one seat naturally) if it is not for hire or if the expenses are shared.

It seems that the UK authorities are far less lenient than in the US, so I'm not sure how it plays out over there. It would make sense though to allow training for hire in a dual control aircraft if the object was to get qualified to fly a single seater.

: The one aircraft that I can think of, of the top of my hea

: Being allowed to fly members of the public, who in turn wo

:
: Aren't similar flights undertaken in the US by the Colling

:
: Anyway, if this is correct, how is it, that two members of

:
: I am not de-crying the fact that this is happening but jus
