: I don't post very often either, but I check this board often. I became a Warbird Nut in 1975 when I saw an issue of Air clasics and on the front cover was the late Bill Ross P-38. Anyway I joined EAA and went to Oshkosh in 1975 with a tape recorder and went into the Warbird Area to record engine sounds which i still have. I got my 1st Warbird Ride in a T-34 back around 1980. Since then have had the great pleasue and privlege to fly in PT-19, PT-26 AT-6 AT-11 TBM P-51 DC-3 B-25 B-24 amd B-17. I have wrote a couple of articles on Warbirds and had a piece published in Warbirds International in 2002. I have helped out at some Airshows over the years primarily with the Yankee Air Force. I have met a lot of neat people over the years and currently am trying to do some Air to Air Photo work when my schedule and time permits. All inn all it has been a great 25 plus years with no regrets.
