I started back in 1989 at the age of 11 when I was introduced to airplanes and warbirds at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo as part of a summer camp experience. I joined up there and spent the rest of my teen years working on the planes and eventually joining the 1941 HAG when politics tore through the NWM. I also was lucky to have a great orthodontist (Dr. Bill Anderson) who straightened my teeth AND kept me interested in warbirds.

Taking an interest into a possible career, I went to Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH and got my PPL there, but switched to Aviation Management after running out of money for the advanced ratings. Graduated in 2001 and in a strike of sheer luck, was recruited by the Collings Foundation to manage the promotion and marketing of the Wings of Freedom B-17 & B-24 tour. I have been really blessed to take an interest in warbirds that I always figured I would be a volunteer for and can actually say I make a living out of it. At 25, I am really looking forward to what the future brings!
