Hi!

I don't post here very often, but I check postings here almost every day.

My first "airshow" must have been around '82 when there was an open day at the airbase at Gardermoen,Norway, which is close to my then and current home.
Then there was a big airshow at Gardermoen '84. I was 12 at the time and old enough to understand and appreciate it all - I was an enthusisast from then on. Joined Warbirds of Norway in 1990 as a "passive" member. I got more involved in 1996 as I started to travel to airshows and such with fellow members in M.H. Broussard LN-WNB. I also voluntered to maintain WoN's website, which I still do.
I have no PPL, but have been fortunate to fly in such aircraft as Harvard, Cornell, Tiger Moth, Jungmann, Saab Safir. In 1999 I made my final exam to call myself an avionics engineer. I have since worked on F-16s for the RNoAF. I have only to a limited degree been involved with maintenance work on warbirds, but have helped out on the Broussard at times. Hope to do more in the future.
I have also started to collect what I can find of warbird mechanical parts that can still be found at resonable prices. i.e. propeller blades, engine parts etc...

Erik
