Hi All,
I first got involved with airshow and warbirds at an early age thanks to my Dad who was a ramp boss at a number of NAS Brunswick airshows in the mid 70s.
From their I got interested in recovery and wreck searching. I also have over the years have work many airshows in the NorthEast as a ramp rat. Anyone who has done this can tell you theirs nothing like the smell of avgas or JP. Like many other wixers I've been writing and shooting warbirds for as long as I can remember.
