Hello all, My name is Dante Cosentino, Im from Lee's Summit, Missouri (KCMO). I am 22 years old and have been a warbird lover as long as I can remember. My dad was a member of the CAF, and was involved with Save a Connie. I was fortunate enough as a little guy to see the complete restoration of there Constellation and was exposed to every warbird around. He bought a BT-13 in 1988. I don't have much information other than it had "My Blue Heaven" painted behind the cowl. He only had it until 1993. Where it is now, I am unsure. When I was a kid, we made trips to Harlingen, Champlin in AZ, Oshkosh from '86-'94 and again in 2000, and just about every airshow remotely close to us. I remember seeing ultra rare aircraft like the A-20 and B-26 before they were saidly lost, and I fell in love with the P-82 when I saw it fly. I also saw one of the last operational F-105s before it ended up in the boneyard. To date, Ive been lucky enough to ride in a BT-13, T-6, Stearman, C-47, B-17, and B-25. Unfortunately, I do not get to see many warbirds where I live. Ocassionally, Ill see a T-6, T-28, and I've heard a Seafury is now located near me, but Ive yet to see it. Anyways, I have been a little long-winded, so I will stop here. I hope I am not intruding. I enjoy viewing the WIX, so I figured this is a great opportunity to participate.
Thanks, Dante
