For as long as I can remember I was going to the airport and airshows with my father. In the winter time I would look over his vast collection of aviation images and when I was nine he gave me my first camera. The first show I photographed was the CWH show at Hamilton in 1975. I think I had one roll of film. Now I shoot about 10-15 rolls a day at a show. I started submitting material to magazines in 1988 and in 1994 I went for my first Harvard ride and air-to-air shoot. Since than I have not looked back and have photographed and flown in many of North America's most popular warbirds including the Fairey Swordfish. My main love is photographing warbirds and vintage aircraft but I do enjoy helping during barnstorming rides with a local group that has Harvards, a Tiger Moth and a Waco YMF. To help people in and out of the aircraft and watch their excitement is very rewarding.

WIX has sure helped me meet a lot of warbird lovers and it was great talking with some of you at Geneseo and Willow Run last year. Looking forward to meeting more of you this year.

Happy Landings,

Eric
