I am an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic with Mesaba Airlines by trade (going on 16 years now), and I also voluteer time to work on Warbirds, including Dave Tinker's TBM Avenger 'Ida Red.' I have written numerous articles on warbirds for several publications, including Air Classics, Warbirds International, FlyPast, Aeroplane, NATA, etc. I am also a warbird photographer, and have had photos in those publications (and more) as well. I have done this for several years now (with much help and support from Eric Dumigan) and though it is by no means financially rewarding, it has payed dividends in many other ways. I've experianced many wonderful events, visited many interseting places, and made some very cherished and dear friends. My life revolves around avition, and this board is an integral part of it. Thank you all for making it as outstanding as it is! Jim
