Thanx. Knew Skoda was a munitions maker in wartime but not that they had been involved in any aircraft projects. The photo looks like an earlier stage in the development of the design than what the painting shows; and the engine looks like an Argus inline or some such, making this bird similar in concept to, say, the Bell XP-77 or the unbuilt Tucker XP-57, lightweight, low-cost, low-powered fighters.

(Skoda, of course, is still an automobile brand; pre-WWII they built some very impressive luxury vehicles comparable with Mercedes-Benz or Horch, say. But a lightweight fighter...that's a new one!)
