I would love nothing more than to see it restored and flown, but due to its rarity this might not be 'popular' among the masses. I would propose using the airframe to construct jigs and make detailed drawings from in order to set up a small production run of airworthy replicas, as we have seen done recently with other types. Would it really be any more difficult than the F3Fs already produced by the Texas Airplane Factory? Imagine, one in pre war Navy markings, one in Finish markings, another in RAF colors (oops... 'colours'), and so on, etc. Would be quite the spectacle methinks! The original could then be restored (or simply displayed as is...) for display in a museum, (hopefully) out of harm's way. Perhaps since it has been 'off the radar screen' for so long this is what is taking place now? Thoughts? Jim
