I thought the footage I saw a couple of weeks ago at Mazar e Sharif(sp) was amazing with all the old Migs sitting around, until I saw Bagram footage last night. My word, was that ever an air force! I am still in awe that all those aircraft were still in the hangers until 2 days ago. And have been like that for many years, according to the spokeman for our Air Force. I am glad I taped both airfields. I guess those were I1-28s, those twin-engined bombers. And that huge transport. How many different versions of Mig did that look like? I would appreciate comments from those of you that know Soviet aircraft well and who saw the footage.
