Hi Gregory,
The area that used to display the biplanes, has now been filled with the Kittyhawk IV, Hunter (F.6?), Tempest II, Thunderbolt, DH.9A, a couple of armoured cars, Hawker Hart and the Wallace.
The nice thing is that the airframes are not on top of each other and it is possible to almost walk around each exhibit (a definate plus).
As for the Bomber Command Hall, the space that used to have the Vimy replica and Hampden (Hereford) tail section has been taken up by the Buccaneer while the Oxford now sits were the Mosquito used to be.
The only really space left unfilled, is behind the TB-25 and Focke Wulf 190, were the DH.9A used to stand.
Cees, I think that the Vulcan will stay at Hendon, as Cosford already have one and is currently undergoing a repaint.
As for the Halifax, I wonder how many here, are of the same mind and wish to see her properly restored?
