Hi All,
Just a idea, I was talking with Mint Moore hear a couple of days ago. We were talking about certain Corsairs and it dawn on me that their are a number of Corsairs that are in museums that are could give their airworthy parts so other aircraft could fly.
Mainly what I was thinking is that taking the spars from museum planes and switching them with projects that have non-airworthy one.
I can think of at least five Corsair that will never fly but still have airworthy or close to airworthy spars.
Along with this thought Scott, Tulio and I were talking about this Sat. how some Museum could take airworthy parts and sell or trade them. I would like to know what the rest of you think especially restorers and museum owners.
Cheers Rob
PS: Scott, Tulio that was a fun time on Sat. we must do this more often.
