I'd do Yorkshire's air war 1944-45

Why?

It would redress the south/North, Lancaster/Halifax issue

Could do lots of daylight raids.... Hali's going out meeting B17's, B24's coming back.

It would need lots of large scale flying Halifax models plus some full size replica's for close-up scenes.... Thus increasing the number of Halifax's even if they would be replica's

June (or was it July) of 1944 No 4 group..(Yorkshire Halifax's) got the highest monthly total of enemy planes shot down. So plenty of scope for air action.

Would include the two Free French Halifax squadrons from Elvington (Little France).

Would include the Canadian No6 group with their MKII Lancs and Hali's... And get plenty of shots of their magnificent nose-art work.

Could also include the "night of the Bandits, operation Gisela" March 3rd 45 when the Germans did a last ditch intruder raid sending fighters across to pick off the returning Hali's as they returned to base.

Add all those ingredients together with the stunning Yorkshire scenery and the beautiful Yorkshire gals... (I'm sure we could get some antics at Betty's bar or Bridlington Spa theate woven into the screenplay someplace) then I'm sure that we are onto a winner.

I just need my lottery numbers to come-up.

Still dreaming...

Paul. (York, U.K.)
