Hmmm. That looks like a nice ride. Have any of you tried to smoke the tires? :O)
I'm surprised at how many are still in use in tractor pulling. I looked at some puller-themed internet sites yesterday and there are quite a few teams still using Allisons. Most were configured with one or two Allisons, but I believe I saw one that was equipped with three.
Maybe it's time to take a survey of how many teams are actually still using aero-engines. Some are converting to turbines, thankfully.
