Agreed...Concorde is a beauty. Re French machines, the Dewoitine 520 wasn't a blot on the landscape, but they did build some oddballs in the 30s, 40s and 50s. Surely the Mirage series rates as attractive...

Re the Bugatti 100P, the designer (Louis deMonge) was Belgian and Ettore Bugatti was Italian (though he lived much of his life in France)...so the "Frenchest" thing about that machine would've been the building it took shape in and the blue paintjob! It certainly is a "love-it-or-hate-it" design. BTW though no fullsize 100P has ever flown (even the original never took to the air), R/C scale versions have been flown quite successfully, so the shape does work...
