We have just observed the 100th anniversary of powered flight, and it makes you wonder what sort of things will come in the next 100 years. I would guess, for the military at least, we won't see big strides in airframe development (continual imrprovements maybe), but the big changes will be in real-time intel gathering and distribution in a networked airspace and battlefield. Couple that with more precise and all-weather bomb guidance, then maybe the pilots could be able to hit revetments 11, 17, and 22, but not 16.

BTW... Did you ever hear if anything of the Sea Fury was left-over? Restorers seem to spend much effort even to get a piece of an airframe.
