Series 20 Spitfire possibilities?

Hi all,

Just to keep you busy, I was wondering if there is a chance that within a few years or so we can see an airworthy Spitfire 21 or 22 gracing the skies. Reason for this is that it seems that most effort is spent into making scores of early marks of Spitfires airworthy such as the Mk V. The later marks are almost forgotten.

Although TFC have a Mk 22, it is still a far way of completion depending on the wish of Mr Grey if it has priority in the queue of many restorations. My thought are pointing in the direction of the several airframes brought in by the MOD and are now in storage. For instance LA226 would be a magnificent airframe if restored (by Historic Flying). Pity that those airframes are not put there where they belong, the skies that is.
