Hello all!
I go there (TOCH) almost every day and haven?t noticed anything. It can depend on what You?ve got running in the back ground and what You haven?t.
I?m on WinXP and have disabled the SERVICE messenger, which has nothing to do with Windows Messenger. That action stops a lot of crap sneaking in that way.
I have Norton Internet Security with a firewall and ad-blocking running.
Those two combined means that I don?t see much of ads anywhere.
I don?t know how the stuff that Paul is talking about gets in to Your system but there is a fair chance that it is through a pop-up.
disk.server.com was certainly stubborn and it took putting it in the restricted zone to get rid of the last ads.
In addition to Ad-aware, I use SpyBotSD as a complement. What the one misses, the other one finds. I always run Ad-aware first and SpyBotSD as the second and lately SpyBotSD has shown a clean system.
