Elliott,

The Hurricane wing attachments take an awful lot of work to produce, not to mention the large lump of metal it takes to start with, plus heat treatment etc. It's not a matter of putting a billet into a machine pressing the button and letting it go, I can find out exactly what it takes if need be, I was looking at some part machined pick ups the other day. Frightens me when I think I carried 3 aircraft sets of wing pick ups in me car a few years ago, the value of which was way more than the value of all the cars I've ever owned.
