Three of them, are outstanding in my experience:

The Odegaard's facilities.
The Vintage Fighters.
The J. Harker hangar.

They have been really nice, helpful and accomodating. BUT, I understand perfectly if someone doesn't want me to see their property or their ongoing projects. They are running a business, and some times, there are liability issues related to non-workers visiting their premises.

I guess the difference in the reception is made from the knowledge that you are a fellow enthusiast. Some of these people really love airplanes and aviation, and understand perfectly when some wide-eyed visitor (Me) wants to see their aircraft. Then, there are the others (whose ads read: No time wasters, no tire kickers, no dreamers) who are in this, just for the money.

In the end, good reception means good words for them, and I want to believe, also good business, since when someone asks me about a specific shop or airplane for sale, I usually make reference to the places where I have been well received.

Saludos,

Tulio
