Ed--

Finally seeing the Potter Spitfire (at Carp) was a thrill; and no matter how many times one experiences it one can never tire of the sight and sound of Mustangs et cetera barrelling down the turf runway at Geneseo. The arrival of CWH's Lancaster at Willow Run to a thunderous round of applause was wonderful. Ditto seeing a P-39 airborne for the first time in 21 years. For me, though, the nod has to go to Bob Odegaard's F2G: a magnificent ghost I had hoped for years to see even only on the ground...never mind dicing with other Unlimiteds in a "race"! The 3 1/2-hour drive to Belleville MI would have been worth it had only "Race 57" showed up...
