Scott--

Did a bit of trawling on the Net (it's exam time here at the university, so I have a little time) and found a couple more mentions of this Sea Hawk.

WM983 was part of the FRU fleet at Hurn (Bournemouth) from June 58 to July 59 (before the FRU moved to Yeovilton); much more recently it's listed as being spotted at the 1986 Hurn airshow, now civil registered G-SEAH. So it seems to have spent a significant part of its career at Hurn; and I must have been wrong about a German connection.

Supposedly there was a Sea Hawk hulk in Manitoba in the seventies, with a Bernard Vaidi (sp?) who also owned, iirc, one of the ex-Ernie Simmons Yales...That's the only Canadian-connected Sea Hawk I can think of even as a rumour.
