A cousin to the earlier thread about type nicknames. This is even more sky's-the-limit...Course it could be split three ways too: Favourites/anti-favourites (for me, the aforementioned "Sugar Booger" moniker belongs there!)/Just Plain Weird. A couple for consideration:
MissPelt (Clarence Lester's 332FG Mustangs--an unusually clever use of the common "Miss*****" pun idea)
Evelyn Tentions (IWM's Firefly--another phonetic pun)
The Witch's Tit (to say the least, one of the odder names to appear on a B-25; I think the reference was to the cold and draughty conditions aboard, but who knows...)
Helen Around (I've never actually seen this particular pun name, but for some reason always picture it, too, on a Mitchell)...
