I'd thought there was more to these than just fuselages, but if not, at least it makes the sorry tale of the scrapping of all but the noses a bit less hard to take. They were ex-RCAF GR.Vs (basically B-24Ds), still wearing their wartime RCAF paintwork when recovered. IIRC one was coded "N" and wore the name "Nanette". Think the serials were BZ599 and BZ600, or something like that. One of the noses was employed in the TV-movie about Joseph Kennedy Jr. in the late 70s.

The two Chase, BC, machines would seem to be different, later-model Libs. Only possibly-relevant item I can think of is the cache of Liberator innards that AAviaM in Edmonton, Alberta, tracked down and acquired some years ago from, I think, someone in BC...The airframe itself no longer existed but there was quite a pile of interesting "stuff" left over. Saw some of it at Edmonton in '95.
