Well, the photos you posted look very good to me!
By the way, what is the deal with the P-51C? Longerons replaced? Wing repairs? The aircraft couldn't have had many hours on it since the previous rebuild. As I recall, it was flying when it left the US, and then flown sometime after arrival in the UK. It was disassembled when I was there way back in 2000, and still seems substantially apart to this day.
Just curious!
: Following my recent nightmare, I was advised by Dr Olrog t
: o make regular visits to Aviation Museums.
:
: Being a good boy and always doing as I am told, I visited
: Cosford on 23rd and Duxford on the 24th November and the r

:
: Mind you, during my Cosford visit, I took over 160 picture
: s with my digital camera but due to a bad case of hand sha
: ke, only 60 are acceptable. This made me bloody annoyed on
: Sunday evening and regretfully, I will have to go back to
: re-take more pictures.
:
: At Cosford and as reported there has been a lot of movemen
: ts since my last visit.
:
: The Argosy is now on the airside of the airfield, the Mete
: or NF14 is missing (apparently stored) and Vulcan XM598 is
: looking good after is repaint (lets hope that this is no
: t just superficial).
:
: Missing airframes include the P-47, Spitfire 16 (apparentl
: y dismantled and stored, pending a decision on its future?
: ?), Ki100, ME262 and Buccaneer.
:
: New exhibits include Spitfire Mk.I (K9942), P-51D (Isobel
: III) and a Tornado.
:
: While looking at the Me410, I noticed that the main wheels
: were leaning inward at the top, as if the axles had broke
: n. I have never noticed this before and was wondering if t
: his is normal? Any clues?
:
: The visit to Duxford result in 97 images but again due to
: hand shake (anger levels nearly reached boiling point), on
: ly 55 are useable. I can only guess that the hand shaking,
: is a result of over-excitement, as this has never happene
: d before and I am going to have to make another visit (02/
: 12/03) to see if the shakes have gone!
:
: In Hanger 2, the Sea Fury is moving on and looks great whi
: le P-51C doesn't appear to have moved on much since Septem
: ber (at least to my untrained eye but I think that the int
: ernals are being worked on) while in Hanger 5, the CF-100
: (looks great), Jaguar, Buccaneer (now almost totally strip
: ped of paint), Spitfire 24, Rapide and Swordfish (includin
: g wings) among others are all being worked on.

: Anyway enjoy the pictures, Tony
