This corker was broadcast on late-night TV here in Canada many moons ago, too. I remember local historian Doug MacPhail telling me about the "role reversal" Spits and Hispanos; he couldn't believe he'd seen it, and neither could I...thought maybe he'd hallucinated it! :-)
This has to give Van Johnson a distinction: how many actors have been in one of the worst flying pics and also in one of the best (in Mr J's case, Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo)??
