Tempest/R3350?

Hi all--
Just to set the cat among the pigeons for my own amusement :-)...Wondering whether the Wright R3350 could be fitted to a Tempest airframe as easily as it apparently can to that of a Fury? I should think that that would do away with at least one of the stumbling blocks that has so far prevented any Tempest project from flying (particularly those Stateside). Sure, the sound would be wrong, and the really observant would notice the prop turning the wrong direction as well...but might it be worth it to see a Tempest in the air?
(Before I get "e-pilloried"...please recall that I'm nuts about Furies, and my own Fury would very decidedly have a Centaurus swinging a five-bladed Rotol even if it had to be deconverted. That's after the Lotto win, of course, sadly...) ;-)
