Fuddy Duddy is currently grounded due to the B-17 wing spar AD and work is very slow in getting it back up and running. Last I spoke with them, they were unsure if they will be able to offer flights when it is airworthy again due to insurance costs. Right now the focus is to get the museum into a cash positive position so they can continue operations.
There are currently four B-17s that offer flights in the US:
-"Nine-o-Nine" - Collings Foundation - $400 USD Per Person
-"Sentimental Journey" - CAF Arizona - $400 USD Per Person
-"Yankee Lady" - Yankee Air Force - $400 USD Per Person
-"Aluminum Overcast" - EAA - $395 USD Per Person (non-EAA Members), $350 USD Per Person (EAA Members).
*All the above B-17s will be active in the summer of 2004*
"Texas Raiders" has an exemption letter as well for flights, but is also grounded due to the AD.
