Mike Potter was scheduled to fly his Spitfire over the ceremonies in Ottawa but when I left Ottawa on Thursday, Nov 6, the oil cooler/port radiator was still sitting on the bench. It isn't an easy job fitting the two assembled rads back into the wing.
The weather in Ottawa looked pretty crappy on Nov. 11th. I was watching it on TV. I really doubt if Mike would have taken AU-J up in that.
Cheers
