Bob Hoover's Sabreliner

I was passing through Tulsa Intl. last night and notice Bob Hoover's Ex-Sabreliner on the Spartan Campus and asked about it. The story is that it was pulled from a lake was given to Spartan. Anybody know the story about it? Mr. Hoover put on a great show at Reno with it, his T-28, P-51 and the Shrike, all in the same day.
