T-33 down in CA

A vintage jet, described on Los Angeles news sunday evening as a T-33 crashed into 3 houses in the town of Santa Clarita - 10 miles north of Van Nuys airport - from where the plane departed. The only recognizable part of the plane on TV were both main wheels- everything else burned up including the homes. No report of the number of persons on board, one person on the ground was injured and has been taken to hospital.

Interviewed eye witnesses described the plane as in a spin. Weather was fairly cloudy in southern california on sunday.
