I can add the following, from Art Pearcys, Douglas DC-3 Survivors, published 1987.
Skytrooper built as 42-68704 and delivered to the US Army Air Force on 28 February 1943, being assigned to Oran, Algeria, on 28 May. It survived World War II and returned to the USA on 22 August 1945, going to the Reconstruction Finance Corp. on 28 September 1945. No dates are quoted for its sale to Continental Airlines as NC61450 or to Southern Airways, but by this time it had been converted to DC-3A-SIC3G standard powered by P&W Twin Wasp engines. During 1954 it was re-registed N66SA, and during October 1967 registered N6650. Carolina Aircraft Corp. purchased the DC-3A on 10 October 1967 and it passed to M.D. Scott of Savannah, GA, in December 1967, followed by the Airlease Corp. of Beaufort, SC in November 19968. During 1974 it was re-registered N31MS. A lease to Marian Mosquito Control followed, and in 1975 the transport passed to the Savannah Bank & Trust Co. of Savannah, GA. Airlease Corp, also of Savannah, bought it on 9 September 1976 and Marian Air Service, a local company leased it in March 1977. There is no date for registration to its present owner, but it was current on the June 1984 US Civil Register.
