...and concentrate on aircraft operated by the British Forces. My main interest are prop birds but occasionally build jets and so that I can build the odd German, Japanese or Italian kites, I also include aircraft captured and flown in evaluation flights. The only condition that I have set myself, is that the aircraft must have been allocated a British serial number.

This does limit the models that I can build but if I didn't do this, I would end of with a room full of unmade models and have the possibility that the kits would never be made.
I must admit that I have been sorely tempted by the recent releases of the A-10 by Trumpeter and the Hornet by Academy but have so far resisted temptation.

As for scale, I build all but tend to have more 1/72 and 1/48. 1/72 are built straight out of the box while the larger scales I try (and usually fail) to enhance with Resin and Photo Etch update kits.

I am currently finishing MPM's 1/72 Barracuda, CF's 1/48 Battle Trainer and Tamiya's 1/48 Buffalo which should be finished by Wednesday, working permitting.

Next in line is Eduards 1/48 Tempest V, Airfix's Lancaster which I hope to convert into a Lincoln, Revell's 1/32 Tornado and a FROG Gannet MK1 which will reduce the pile to only 19 kits waiting to be built, which is only a small pile, when compared to many that I have heard of.

I am also starting to move into Armour and have Tamiya's 1/16 Tiger plus their 1/35 Churchill, Cromwell, Centaur and Centurion but don't know when I shall start these.

All in all, a pretty time consuming interest, it's just a shame that work has to get in the way, until I win the Lottery, that is....

Happy modelling, Tony
