I love Ontario but I really hate heading into this time of year.I have to say this year was not as good as the past few, but for me photographing Tallichet's B17, Jerry Yagen's Spitfire, Larry Kelly's B-25 and Mark Rueckland's P-51 over Geneseo stands out. A close second was the late Saturday night I spent at Yankee with Mike Schneider and the crew from E-Fighter Productions while they prepared the F2G for a night shoot. It was one of those moments in time I will never forget.
I'm still working on a media deal to attend the 100th Anniversary at Kitty Hawk so my highlite for 2003 may still be ahead. To see a Wright Flyer fly to the exact minute 100 years on should be very moving. As far as airshows go the Yankee show was by far the best. I got to photograph many aircraft I had never seen before.
