I recall seeing some Spitfire/Seafire bits and pieces (one of which was a cowling) at Popham Aerojumble about two years ago.

They were being sold by an Irish chap who told me, if I recall correctly, that they were salvaged from a College and had been used for repair training.

The asking prices seemed pretty high to me and I don't know if he sold them. Perhaps they were a "steal" in Spitfire terms. And maybe there are still small bits and pieces that may turn up?
