I have been informed that the wreck of a twin-engined RAF bomber lies underwater near Livorno.
The source cannot identify the type, but has traced the names of two crew members who were accepted by the local hospital.
1) Salt Douglas, son of Arthur, 23 years of age, born in Harpenden
2) Wilson Eric, son of George, 22 years old, married, from Brighton.
Does anyone know how to identify the aircraft (type and serial) from this information? If not, what would you suggets?
Gregory
