RJ Mitchell fund

Just after WW2 a fund was started up in this designers name called the "Spitfire Mitchell Memorial Fund"
The president of the fund was Lady MacRobert and was founded to hold in rememberance, grattitude and honour this great man.
Does anone know what ever happenned to this fund?
